Robinhood is looking for a skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to join our rapidly growing Accounting team. We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities – a self-starter who can work independently but who is also a good team-player. This individual will need to be able to pick things up quickly and be able to meet deadlines with multiple tasks.

As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will support core accounting operations while helping build and perform reconciliation processes for new and existing products, including crypto-native offerings. You will play a hands-on role in the monthly close, financial analysis, audit support, and accounting research while partnering with other teams to improve processes and data flow!

This role is based in our New York, NY office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

Build and perform crypto-native reconciliation processes for new products using data sourced from internal ledgers
Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations
Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances
Assist with compiling year-end external audit requests
Research important accounting issues and apply best practices in accordance with accounting standards
Assist with ad hoc research, cleanup, and reporting projects
Work with various departments to streamline data flow and accounting processes
Assist with system automation projects as needed

What you bring

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
You have 3–5 years of total experience, preferably combined across public accounting and industry
You have an understanding of GAAP standards
You have strong analytical and organizational skills
You have experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets
You have experience using SQL
You have hands-on experience in the financial close process (preferred)
You have experience with blockchain, digital assets, and crypto (preferred)
You have experience using a crypto subledger (preferred)

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

$89,000—$105,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$78,000—$92,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)

$70,000—$82,000 USD
