At Databricks, we are on a mission to empower our customers to solve the world's toughest data problems by utilizing the Lakehouse platform. As a Lead Scale Solution Engineer, you will play a critical role during this customer journey. You will directly work with customers to help them onboard and deploy Databricks in a production environment. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Technical Services

The impact you will have

You will be part of a team responsible for onboarding new customers to the Databricks Data Intelligence platform, as well as assisting existing customers to deploy new use cases on the platform.
You will become an expert on the Databricks Data Intelligence platform and guide customers to make the best technical decisions to achieve their goals
You will actively work across multiple customer onboarding and track and report on their progress.
You will contribute to the maintenance and evolution of our catalog of services
You will mentor new joiners to accelerate their onboarding process.
You will collaborate with hiring managers in the interview process to conduct interviews

What we look for

Extensive experience in a customer-facing technical role in pre-sales, professional services, consulting or customer success.
Experience in one or more of the following:

Data Engineering technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, HPO)
Data Warehousing (e.g., SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS)
Knowledge of at least 1 public cloud platform AWS, Azure or GCP

Solid understanding of the end-to-end data analytics architecture and workflow.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills Nice to have: Databricks Certification
Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant experience
