We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our team. As Senior Technical Program Manager for Maple products, you will partner with business stakeholders and work closely with product, design, science and engineering teams to implement strategy and execution. You will work across multiple platforms (Android, iOS, Web, backend services) steering product design and implementation decisions. You will collaborate with the product teams to deliver the best solutions with efficient use of resources and technologies. You will make strong business cases for project prioritization and investment. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and inspire risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit. You will navigate service interdependencies and lead cross-functional teams towards technical solutions for multi-tiered systems. You will work through complex and ambiguous challenges with a large number of teams to deliver on your projects. A day in the life
This high visibility role will require senior leadership communication and influencing while working with stakeholders across multiple organizations. You will regularly deep dive issues to determine the root cause and partner with stakeholders for resolution, including the right stakeholders as needed. This role has regular interaction with various business units across Amazon Music and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will successfully represent the technical team to senior leadership and partners, and coordinate, prioritize and deliver to an ambitious roadmap. You will manage end-to-end projects, often managing multiple projects/programs at once, while demonstrating high judgement, clear communication, creative approaches, the ability to think big, and a consistent track record of delivering results.
